Ken Miller is an American representational artist and his paintings exhibit strong graphic design and Pop art influences. Born in 1963, Miller Lives in East Hampton, NY and although primarily a self taught painter he studied at the Fashion Institute, and Painting, at The School of Visual Arts in New York City. He learned his sense of composition while working as the Photographer’s assistant to Ken Haak, a legendary Fashion Photographer of the 70s and 80s. Miller, as a photographer, produced and authored A photographic coffee table book, the “The Hamptons, Long Island’s East End”, published by Rizzoli in 1993. Ken’s work has appeared in Town & Country, Vogue Italia, German Vogue, Cote Sud, Tatler, Reader’s Digest, Hamptons Magazine, International Magazine, The New York Times and Cote Quest. Other Clients have included Banana Republic, Phat Farm and St. Martin’s Press. Miller’s paintings are in numerous private collections.
