ABOUT
James Browning Wyeth is a contemporary American Realist painter. Growing up in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, he attracted considerable attention as a third generation American artist: son of Andrew Wyeth and grandson of N.C. Wyeth. Unlike his father and grandfather’s dedication to a particular media, Wyeth has been more experimental in his techniques.
Wyeth has had dozens of one man exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad. His works are included among the permanent collections of the Brandywine River Museum, the Farnsworth Art Museum, the National Gallery of Art, John F. Kennedy Library, the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and others.
