Holland's current series focuses on two themes: mythology and meaning-making. Using linear depictions of constellations in the modern Zodiac as the geometrical foundation of each piece, the constellation is a conceptual underpinning as well as an aesthetic device. |

Alimanestianu’s biomorphic forms examine the invisible relationships between objects and their environment. She renders through color and shape subtle associations; connections are distilled into depictions of raw energy, manifested through the language of abstraction. |

The Andy Dandy series considers the rich association between Warhol and flowers. The images of Warhol are from a 1981 collaboration between Makos and Warhol called "Altered Image", through which the photographer and his subject used unexpected combinations of simple elements to explore Identity. |
